About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in cloud technology within a biotechnology research environment. You will join an Agile development team to contribute to the Gilead Cloud platform. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn how cloud technology supports company operations.
- Build capabilities for the Gilead Cloud platform.
- Create reusable software components and patterns.
- Use software development tools to document and store your work.
- Present your project outcomes near the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. college or university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Independently authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
