About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in HR Shared Services within the biotechnology industry. You will contribute to projects that support our HR operations, attend team trainings, and participate in professional development activities. The role concludes with a final presentation of your work.
What you'll do#
- Perform assigned tasks accurately and in accordance with company policies.
- Work with your assigned team to build subject matter knowledge.
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist in improving HR processes.
- Provide answers to employee questions and solve problems as they arise.
- Compose employee communications regarding HR information.
- Prepare HR-related reports and surveys.
- Attend team meetings and department trainings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program, with continued enrollment in the following Fall semester.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
