About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects within the Commercial Data and AI Center of Excellence team. You will gain experience in an innovative environment while supporting the development of AI solutions. The role is full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of AI and Generative AI solutions and business process automation using Large Language Models.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to gather requirements and develop prompts.
- Evaluate model outputs and support the delivery of AI-powered capabilities.
- Support LLM Ops activities including model evaluation, prompt management, monitoring, testing, version control, governance, performance tuning, and deployment.
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies, agentic frameworks, RAG, and industry best practices.
- Translate research findings into proof-of-concepts, pilots, and scalable enterprise solutions.
- Prepare project documentation, dashboards, presentations, and status reports.
- Assist with user adoption, training, and change management activities for AI initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the internship.
- Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Must be independently authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
