About the role#
We are hiring an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside project managers, engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists to implement project goals related to air quality, solid waste, and remediation.
What you'll do#
- Write reports and manage project data.
- Maintain field equipment.
- Assist with soil and groundwater sampling.
- Support the installation of monitoring wells.
- Help with the operations and maintenance of remediation systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
- A strong desire to learn and apply academic theory in a practical setting.
- A motivated mindset and a genuine interest in gaining new knowledge.
- The initiative to identify ways to assist staff with various tasks.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Buford, Georgia.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days of in-office attendance per week.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
