About the role#
We are looking for an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside project managers, professional engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists to support various project goals. This role involves a mix of office tasks and field work to help implement environmental solutions.
What you'll do#
- Assist with report writing and data management tasks.
- Perform maintenance on field equipment.
- Gain field experience through soil and groundwater sampling.
- Support monitoring well installation and operations for remediation systems.
- Coordinate project goals related to air quality, solid waste, and health and safety.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
- Ability to learn on the job and apply academic theory to practical situations.
- Strong motivation and a desire to learn.
- Initiative to identify ways to assist staff with tasks of any size.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
- Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
