About the role#
As a Software Developer Intern on the Genesys Cloud team, you will join a team focused on delivering new features for our product. You will work in a development environment that ships software while maintaining a friendly culture. This position offers exposure to leaders across our Cloud business and provides an opportunity to build technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and test features to meet customer business needs.
- Ensure features maintain high scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Participate in collaborative code reviews with other developers.
- Understand and comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws.
- Adhere to the Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including modern development practices.
- Familiarity with AWS backend technologies and services.
- Experience with Vue.js or other TypeScript-based UI frameworks.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term.
- The role is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- We follow a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the downtown Toronto office 1 to 2 days per week based on business needs.
