About the role#
We are hiring Software Developer Interns to work across multiple teams in Canada. We match successful candidates with specific teams based on your interests, technical skills, and our current hiring needs. Depending on your team, you may work on cloud services, web or desktop applications, developer platforms, data systems, or AI-enabled features.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software features, APIs, and developer tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product partners to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Write maintainable code and develop automated tests to ensure product quality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues using logs, metrics, and debugging tools.
- Participate in Agile activities like sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Apply engineering principles to improve product performance, security, and scalability.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to support research, problem-solving, and execution.
- Communicate technical progress and findings to your team and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Graduation date no earlier than April 2027.
- Programming experience in languages such as C++, C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- Understanding of core concepts like data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience building, testing, or debugging software.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to cloud technologies, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Interest in automated testing, CI/CD, or AI-assisted software development.
- Interest in CAD, manufacturing, or engineering software.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4 to April 23, 2027).
- Work Modality: Remote, on-site, or hybrid options available based on team needs.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
