    About the role#

    As a Supervisor, you will lead a group of employees within a production environment. You will manage daily operations to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining safety and efficiency. This role requires you to make timely decisions, handle changing priorities, and manage risk in a plant setting. You will also participate in innovation challenges, engage with industry leaders, attend trade events, and join community service activities.

    What you'll do#

    • Supervise hourly represented employees in a unionized environment.
    • Implement Health & Safety laws and promote a safe work environment.
    • Maintain and improve quality levels every day.
    • Meet and exceed efficiency targets through continuous improvement.
    • Manage personnel, materials, and equipment effectively.
    • Follow local and national labour agreements.
    • Handle administrative tasks and maintain department records.
    • Reduce costs and eliminate waste.
    • Achieve business plan objectives.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Finance, or equivalent.
    • Ability to work 40 hours per week in Canada.
    • Availability for an 8 or 12 month term starting January 2027.
    • Willingness to work in a plant environment.
    • Flexibility for shift work, weekends, and overtime.
    • Prior manufacturing, production, or automotive experience is preferred.
    • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leading role is preferred.

    • Location: Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Salary: $4,264 - $4,784 CAD per month.
    • Note: This role does not provide immigration sponsorship or relocation benefits.
