About the role#
The Body Controls Calibration and System Testing team is growing as we adopt software defined architecture. This role offers hands-on experience with future technologies in the Body Electronics and Mechatronics space. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside engineers with extensive experience in embedded development.
What you'll do#
- Calibrate and validate customer-facing features including exterior and interior lighting, vehicle access, occupant protection, and cabin comfort.
- Troubleshoot and resolve anomalies to improve system robustness.
- Participate in the development of future technologies within Body Electronics.
- Work with automotive technology in a collaborative team setting.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Must be enrolled in a co-op program and meet all eligibility requirements.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for a 12 to 16 month term starting January 2027.
- Valid Ontario G Driver License.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

- Location: Oshawa Elevation Centre, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week on-site.
- Compensation: Paid position.
