Job Description: 2027 Spring Intern - Pharmaceutical DevelopmentDepartment Summary As part of Pharma Technical Development (PTD), Pharmaceutical Development (PTDU-P) develops safe, innovative, and effective drugs using cutting-edge technologies for formulation, manufacturing process, and analytical development. The group has long been recognized as a world leader in developing large-scale manufacturing processes, sophisticated analytical methods, and effective drug delivery systems.This internship position is located in South San Francisco, on-site. The OpportunityPerform analytical testing of stability samples to support drug product representative and predictive stability studies.Use thermo-kinetic modeling to evaluate the stability of biotherapeutics.Evaluate biophysical characterization techniques (e.g., DSC, DLS, rheometry) as a stability prediction tool.Generate high-quality data based on sound scientific principles and document results in electronic lab notebook.Program HighlightsIntensive 6-month, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.Program start dates are in January (Spring) 2027.A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
