About the role#
This internship is a full-time, 10-12 week program taking place during the summer of 2027. You will join the Clinical Development team at Kite to work on a Clinical Data Management (CDM) metrics assessment project. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while gaining experience in a professional biotechnology environment.
What you'll do#
- Inventory current CDM metrics, dashboards, and reports.
- Understand the purpose and use of each metric.
- Interview stakeholders to determine their decision-making needs.
- Evaluate existing metrics to see if they are actionable, relevant, predictive, and easy to understand.
- Identify gaps in current CDM performance measurement.
- Develop recommendations for new or revised metrics.
- Build a metrics dashboard.
- Provide support for CDM Sharepoint updates and improvements.
- Present your work in a final presentation at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at an accredited U.S. university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10-12 week schedule between May and August.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be independently authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
