About the role#
ProFound Therapeutics is seeking a motivated Co-Op to join our Oncology team. This position is open exclusively to current Northeastern University students. You will contribute scientific and technical expertise to a multidisciplinary team, focusing on conceptualization, experimentation, and data analysis. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week role requiring 5 days of on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Design, plan, and execute experiments to support research activities, project goals, and platform development.
- Contribute to the Oncology team mission of discovering new therapeutics and validating therapeutic targets.
- Report experimental plans and results to the scientific team.
- Review literature to contribute new ideas, methods, and technologies.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in oncology, cell biology, or a related field such as biochemistry, microbiology, or molecular biology.
- Hands-on laboratory experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Preferred: Prior industry or academic research co-op experience in Cell Biology.
- Preferred: Experience with cell-based assay development, Flow cytometry, or immunoblots.
- Preferred: Experience with data analysis using Graphpad Prism and Microsoft Excel.
Location & details#
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Work period: January 2027 to June 2027.
- Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
