About the role#
This internship sits within the Product Management function, supporting the Pivot to Value (P2V) Value Engineering team. You will assist in initiatives that advance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity objectives across the Steam Turbine portfolio. You will work alongside Product Managers, Value Engineers, and Senior Engineers on projects focused on value optimization and the implementation of standard steam turbine designs, specifically the D600 and D650 platforms.
What you'll do#
- Support Value Engineering initiatives for D600 and D650 standard engine design implementation and capacity expansion projects.
- Track project schedules, milestones, risks, action items, and value realization metrics.
- Collect, organize, and analyze technical, operational, and financial data to build project business cases.
- Assist with cost tracking and reporting for engineering and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams to identify improvement opportunities.
- Participate in value engineering workshops and continuous improvement activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum sophomore standing with at least one academic term remaining following the assignment.
- Ability to work full-time during the assignment period.
- Demonstrated academic success and a strong interest in engineering, manufacturing, or project management.

- Compensation: $21.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on years of study completed.
