About the role#
As a Hardware Engineering Co-op at GE Vernova, you will work on projects within our engineering and technology teams. This role involves applying your electrical engineering knowledge to hardware design for real-world applications. You will gain exposure to industrialization at our manufacturing plant in Rochester, New York, while receiving mentorship from technical managers.
What you'll do#
- Apply electrical engineering skills to hardware design for products in the energy, oil and gas, mining, water, and transportation industries.
- Report project progress and status to management.
- Estimate the time required to implement features and resolve technical issues.
- Use your academic background to deliver project outcomes and contribute to team goals.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time, accredited baccalaureate or graduate program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Completion of at least two full years of college.
- Ability to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Rochester, New York.
- The term covers Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
