About the role#
The Logistics Analyst Intern supports the North America Logistics team at GE Vernova. You will gain hands-on experience in project logistics and supply chain operations. This role focuses on data analysis, reporting, and improving operational efficiency. You will collaborate with teams in Logistics, Project Management, Sourcing, and Finance.
What you'll do#
- Maintain shipment trackers, logistics dashboards, and KPI reports.
- Analyze freight spend, shipment volumes, and transportation modes.
- Track transportation costs against project logistics budgets.
- Identify data gaps and find ways to improve data quality.
- Document logistics processes, workflows, and standard work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Data Science.
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyze transportation and logistics data.
- Familiarity with reporting tools and dashboards.
- Understanding of freight spend and transportation cost analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
