About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with Grid Automation and Software technologies, products, and services. You will work alongside experienced professionals to develop your technical skills and contribute to projects that support the electrification and decarbonization of the energy sector.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on the enhancement of existing Grid Automation and Software solutions.
- Develop new, commercially viable features for grid technology.
- Solve real-world industry and customer challenges by applying electrical engineering principles, physics, and AI/ML techniques.
- Contribute to pilot projects and initiatives that shape the future of grid technology.
What you'll need#
- A fresh graduate degree in Engineering, with a Master’s degree (LMD) in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, computer science, or other STEM majors.
- Thesis or end-of-studies project work focused on electrical power systems, protection, and controls.
- A minimum cumulative or in-major GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) during the summer.
- Legal authorization to work in the country where you are applying.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- While the role is listed as remote, you must be willing to work in an office or at project sites as required.
