About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will work on-site to support manufacturing and process improvement initiatives within a regulated environment. This role involves performing diverse assignments that contribute to product development and manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the introduction of new equipment, including fabrication, assembly, and qualification.
- Support process validation activities for new test processes, such as developing work instructions.
- Document and report the results of tests and measures to ensure compliance and quality.
- Co-lead process and quality improvement projects to support operational excellence.
- Use Lean Six Sigma tools to solve problems and improve business outcomes.
- Collect data and apply analytical approaches to address technical challenges.
- Contribute to product qualification packages.
What you'll need#
- Full-time student status pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or another related engineering discipline.
- Completion of at least 24 credit hours toward your degree with at least sophomore standing.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong initiative to manage complex assignments.
- Availability to work for a minimum of 10 weeks.
- Willingness to relocate.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
