    About the role#

    Under the supervision of the Quality team, the Quality Intern assists technicians with daily tasks to maintain quality standards across production operations. This role supports inspection activities, non-conformance management, equipment calibration, and documentation updates in accordance with established procedures. This is a 4-month internship with the possibility of extending to 8 months.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist quality technicians with daily tasks and participate in continuous improvement projects.
    • Support the inspection of incoming raw materials, consumables, and products against established plans.
    • Perform product verification to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
    • Help document and track non-conforming products in the appropriate systems.
    • Prepare non-conformance reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
    • Plan and track periodic calibrations for measurement instruments.
    • Support the calibration and verification of production and laboratory equipment.
    • Update quality documentation, including procedures, forms, and templates.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Quality, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in French (written and spoken) and a basic to intermediate level of English.
    • Practical knowledge of MS Office.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and rigor.
    • Ability to work in a team and develop autonomy.
    • No prior experience is required.
    • Basic knowledge of reading mechanical drawings and using measurement instruments is an asset.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Saint-Eustache, Quebec.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: On-site, with work shared between the office and the factory floor.
    • Physical requirements: Occasional standing for inspections and the ability to lift up to 20 to 22 kg.
    • Employment: Full-time, paid position.
