About the role#
This ten-week internship provides an introduction to the alternative investment industry. You will work within the Private Equity Secondaries team, which focuses on traditional LP-market deals and GP-led transactions like continuation funds and tender offers. You will collaborate with the team on live deals and projects while gaining exposure to senior management.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and conduct due diligence on private equity fund opportunities.
- Prepare and present investment recommendations and findings to internal committees.
- Conduct industry research to support the investment evaluation process.
- Support client relationship management, including ongoing portfolio reporting.
- Assist with fundraising efforts for separate account mandates and commingled funds.
- Use financial databases such as Capital IQ, Preqin, Burgiss, and DealCloud.
- Support business intelligence projects and perform related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a BA or BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Relevant coursework or previous internship experience in investments or financial markets.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Demonstrated interest in the alternative investment industry.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: The annual pay range is $85,000 to $90,000.
- Eligibility: You must be authorized to work in the United States. This role does not offer employer visa sponsorship.
