About the role#
Gas South is looking for a curious and adaptable intern to join our Human Resources team. This role offers hands-on experience in how HR functions support employees and drive business results. You will work on strategic and operational initiatives and complete a capstone project focused on a current business or HR challenge.
What you'll do#
- Analyze workforce, engagement, and performance data to identify trends.
- Support talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Research best practices to help strengthen employee development and organizational effectiveness.
- Assist with process improvement, policy reviews, and HR technology projects.
- Present your capstone project findings and recommendations to HR leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work both independently as a self-starter and collaboratively as a team player.
- Attention to detail and comfort presenting data-driven insights.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The position follows a hybrid work model.
- The internship term is on a rolling basis.
