About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in airline operations by working within the Human Resources department at Frontier Airlines. You will support the Learning and Development team through project work and on the job training. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist the HR department with various projects and daily functions.
- Respond to requests from employees, candidates, and leadership.
- Create and analyze HR reports, presentations, and maintain data in HR systems.
- Facilitate HR meetings, including booking rooms and tracking action items.
- Maintain HR records and become familiar with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in the company training Center of Excellence.
- Monitor compliance and identify training needs within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Gather feedback on engagement initiatives and help organize company-wide events and town halls.
- Create and promote employee recognition programs.
- Coordinate with the Communications, HR, and Branding teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university.
- A degree path in Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Previous experience in customer service or event planning.
- Strong office and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of PCs and MS Office software, specifically Word and Excel.
