About the role#
The Human Resources Intern role at Frontier Airlines offers exposure to airline operations through project work and hands-on training within the HR department. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Denver, Colorado, for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist the HR department with daily projects and administrative functions.
- Respond to inquiries from employees, candidates, and leadership.
- Create and analyze HR reports while maintaining data in HR systems.
- Prepare and update HR presentations.
- Facilitate meetings by booking rooms, preparing agendas, and tracking action items.
- Maintain HR records and files.
- Partner with the Manager of Learning and Development to support the training Center of Excellence.
- Use the Learning Management System to monitor compliance and identify training needs.
- Organize and lead company-wide events, town halls, and engagement activities.
- Gather feedback on engagement initiatives to measure their impact.
- Develop and promote employee recognition programs.
- Coordinate with the Communications, HR, and Branding teams on company messaging.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Previous experience in event planning or customer service.
- Strong office and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of PCs and MS Office software, specifically Word and Excel.
