About the role#
This full-time internship offers an opportunity to gain experience in airline operations by working within the Human Resources department at Frontier Airlines. You will work on assigned projects and receive on-the-job training throughout the Winter 2027 term. This position is based on-site in Denver, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Assist the HR department with various projects and daily functions.
- Respond to requests from employees, candidates, and leadership via email, phone, and in person.
- Create and analyze HR reports and presentations.
- Maintain and update data within HR systems and records.
- Facilitate HR meetings by managing agendas and tracking action items.
- Monitor compliance and identify training needs using the Learning Management System.
- Gather feedback on engagement initiatives and help organize company-wide events and town halls.
- Collaborate with the Communications, HR, and Branding teams to promote employee recognition programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university, preferably pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Previous experience in event planning or customer service.
- Strong communication and office skills.
- Working knowledge of PCs and MS Office software, specifically Word and Excel.
