About the role#
The Treasury Intern role offers exposure to corporate finance within the aviation industry. You will work on projects that support the Treasury department and gain experience through formal training and daily tasks. This is a full-time position for the Winter 2027 term based in Denver, Colorado.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Treasury team with various projects and tasks.
- Manage cash forecasts and prepare daily cash summaries.
- Handle cash duties including payments, receipts, and reconciliation of daily cash positions.
- Support fleet finance, administration, and corporate insurance.
- Participate in fuel administration, operations, and risk management.
- Conduct financial analysis, reporting, and corporate finance tasks.
- Assist with contract negotiations and scenario analysis.
- Provide internal consulting to different functions across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university with at least 3 years of undergraduate coursework completed or current enrollment in a graduate program.
- Relevant coursework in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, mathematics, or other quantitative disciplines.
- Demonstrated understanding of economic, financial, and accounting concepts.
- Familiarity with Excel, macros, and data mining software.
- Ability to structure logical analytical approaches and apply quantitative techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work self-sufficiently to solve analytical challenges under tight deadlines.
- A results-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
- Interest in finance, accounting, treasury management, or capital and fuel markets.
