About the role#
Fischer Homes is seeking a Production Technician Co-Op for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Erlanger, Kentucky. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience in construction production.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily production tasks with the team.
- Learn to perform job estimates and operate internal systems.
- Compare live estimates against similar jobs to review resources and quantities.
- Generate Job Comparable Reports to identify variances.
- Draft floorplans using AutoCad.
- Find solutions to recurring problems within company guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to sit for long periods while using office equipment like computers and calculators.
