About the role#
This engineering support internship focuses on maintaining product data consistency. You will work under the guidance of a Configuration Management lead to support various program teams. The schedule follows a 9/80 format, meaning you work 80 hours over nine days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Perform configuration management tasks to keep product data consistent.
- Coordinate with different disciplines to provide data management support.
- Use tools like Siemens Teamcenter and customer portals for data deliverables.
- Assist with internal audits to check for contract compliance.
- Suggest process improvements to the team.
- Support engineering and program management groups as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with version control or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
- Knowledge of SDRL processes and requirements.
- Familiarity with project management and Department of Defense contracts.
- Availability to work overtime or outside standard business hours when deadlines require it.
