About the role#
The Digital Transformation Intern will support continuous improvement projects focused on site throughput and yield. This role involves independent work with various teams to collect data, investigate issues, and implement solutions. Interns will gain exposure to production floor logistics, statistical analysis, and technical reporting.
What you'll do#
- Analyze throughput constraints and scrap data.
- Report on daily status and support investigations into production issues.
- Learn and utilize new software for scrap management and JMP statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Create Standard Operating Procedure documents and monitor their deployment on the factory floor.
- Support the execution of experiments and sample preparation for lab work.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations and present project summaries to the leadership team in technical forums.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering program, or a Data Science degree.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong background in statistics and data analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause identification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Six Sigma methodologies is considered a plus.

- Location: Perrysburg, Ohio.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Duration: 3 to 6 months.
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: $22-$25 per hour.
- Physical requirements include the ability to wear personal protective equipment, climb stairs, and lift up to 27 pounds.
