About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience within the Equipment Finance Group. You will support relationship managers and the syndications team through analytical tasks and transaction management. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform complex analytical support functions to assist the Equipment Finance Group.
- Gain knowledge of the Equipment Finance Originations and Syndications market, including pricing targets, risk appetite, and business unit capabilities.
- Support day-to-day origination and transaction management for existing and prospective clients.
- Assist with the coordination and submission of opportunity memos, deal screens, credit submittals, and Offering Memorandums.
- Help with underwriting, credit analysis, and due diligence processes.
- Prepare pitch materials and market updates for client meetings.
- Work alongside the EFG group and other corporate banking teams on deal presentations.
- Monitor broad economic and market trends.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Minimum 3.3 GPA.
- Strong analytical skills with an interest in financial analysis, corporate finance, and financial markets.
- Working knowledge of financial modeling and valuation.
- Ability to draw conclusions from financial data with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
