About the role#
This co-op position offers practical experience in corporate accounting. You will work alongside accounting professionals on month-end and year-end closing processes, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting. This is a full-time, paid role designed to provide hands-on exposure to finance transformation and daily accounting operations.
What you'll do#
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Contribute to team meetings and training sessions.
- Support lean initiatives to improve department efficiency.
- Build a professional network across the organization.
- Complete assigned coursework and self-learning tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- Status as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity to learn new software applications as needed.
- Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred.
