About the role#
Fidelity Canada is seeking a student for a Winter 2027 co-op term. This role offers exposure to human resources functions within the financial services industry. You will be placed in either Talent Acquisition or Learning and Development based on your interests. You will work in a hybrid capacity and receive support from a mentor throughout your placement.
What you'll do#
- Partner with recruiters to support the talent acquisition life cycle, including Workday processing, job postings, offer letter preparation, onboarding, and reference checking.
- Review talent acquisition processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development designers on data collection, content creation, and delivery.
- Administer tasks within the learning management system and use design tools to create content.
- Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary human resources management program and a registered co-op program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion, tact, and judgment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Availability to work on a full-time basis for the entire co-op term.
- Previous HR work experience is considered an asset.
