About the role#
This is a student position within Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC). You will join a division that provides trade execution, clearing, custody, and back-office support to Canadian brokerage firms and portfolio managers. This role is a full-time, paid contract for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Learn how FCC custody products and services are presented to investment firms.
- Partner with sales teams to understand the full sales process.
- Support sales and client management processes.
- Contribute to research projects and business development initiatives.
- Gain cross-functional knowledge across all areas of Fidelity Clearing Canada.
What you'll need#
- Currently working towards a university degree in finance, commerce, economics, or business.
- A strong interest in the financial industry and capital markets.
- Ability to manage short-term projects and assist with sales initiatives.
- Skill in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities by gathering market intelligence.
