Team & Job Overview The Library Services team is responsible for tracking and managing the information subscription budgets, renewals and new product purchases, evaluating business requirements, coordinating access to subscriptions, and updating the e-Library catalogue at EDC. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student or recent graduate to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with: - Reviewing and actioning client requests for access to information subscriptions - Collecting usage data and user feedback for information subscriptions - Updating user lists - Collecting and analyzing subscription renewals - Organizing training sessions delivered by suppliers for information subscriptions - Creating curated collections to drive awareness and use of information subscriptions - Updating Library SharePoint Online sites This Junior Associate position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in library services. Screening Criteria - Currently enrolled in a post-secondary Library Science program (or recent graduate) - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Familiarity with SharePoint, - Proficiency: M365, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel - Strong communication skills - Is available to work onsite in EDC’s downtown Ottawa office Assets - Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French) would be considered an asset. Compensation Details: Student, New Grad & Master’s salaries range from $42,900 to $56,550 annually, based on year of study.
