About the role#
Export Development Canada hires students and recent graduates for marketing and communications roles for the Winter 2027 term. This is an opportunity to join various teams and gain experience within a financial Crown corporation. You will work in a professional environment that supports learning through mentorship and coaching. While these are typically four-month terms, preference is given to candidates available for eight months or longer.

- Collaborate with a diverse and experienced team.
- Build relationships with colleagues across various sectors.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Contribute to projects involving brand management, internal relations, communications, marketing strategy, and marketing technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary institution or completion of a degree within the last year.
- A focus on or recent completion of a program in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Previous work experience relevant to your field of study.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated sense of initiative, organization, and analytical ability.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit.
- Ability to meet government security clearance requirements.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office.
- Positions are available in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax.
