About the role#
This is a talent pool for students and recent graduates interested in human resources. You will join a team to support various HR functions and gain experience within a financial Crown corporation. We are hiring for the Winter 2027 session. While initial placements are for four months, we prefer candidates available for eight months or longer.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a diverse and experienced team.
- Work on talent acquisition, employee support, and employee relations.
- Assist with global benefits, training, and professional development.
- Contribute to inclusion, diversity, and equity initiatives.
- Perform HR analysis.
- Build relationships with colleagues across different sectors.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a university or college program in HR or a related business field.
- Previous work experience related to your field of study.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical, organizational, and initiative-taking abilities.
- Ability to work independently within a team.
- Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work permit.
- Ability to meet government security screening requirements.
- Proficiency in both official languages is an asset.
Location & details#
- Work modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
- Locations: Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax.
- Status: Full-time, paid contract positions.
