About the role#
As a Student in Advisor Sales, you will support the sales team in maintaining client service standards and identifying new business opportunities. This role provides exposure to the full sales process and the broader financial services industry. You will be paired with a mentor and participate in a training program focused on communication, public speaking, and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Partner with sales teams to understand the end-to-end sales process.
- Learn how Fidelity products and services are presented to investment professionals.
- Conduct fund analysis, create reports, and deliver presentations.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities by gathering competitive and marketplace intelligence.
- Manage short-term database projects and assist with various sales initiatives.
- Gain cross-functional knowledge across different areas of the company.
- Attend presentations from portfolio managers to learn about market trends.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a registered university co-op program.
- Working toward a degree with a concentration in finance, commerce, economics, or business.
- A keen interest in the financial industry and capital markets.
- Ability to work on a full-time basis for the duration of the Winter 2027 term.
- Strong organizational skills to manage database projects and sales tasks.
