About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas offers a paid, full-time internship within the Internal Audit department. This program provides an opportunity to gain experience in central banking while working on meaningful projects. Interns participate in a cohort-based experience that includes professional development, networking, and access to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist with internal control, financial, compliance, and operational audits, including audits of automation functions.
- Participate in walkthroughs and interviews with process owners and stakeholders.
- Identify risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
- Support the preparation of audit reports and presentations that summarize your findings.
- Conduct data extraction and analysis using software tools.
- Assist with special audits or projects as assigned by management.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for these requirements.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.

- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
