About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is hiring a Conference & Events Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cleveland, Ohio. You will gain practical experience in event operations through real-world projects while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and coordination of various events.
- Create marketing materials and assist with attendee management.
- Help with onsite production, including event setup, operations, and breakdown.
- Collaborate with the event management team and other stakeholders to meet project deliverables.
- Travel within the 4th District to provide onsite support for events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining.
- A focus on Business Management or Hospitality Management.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a group.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.
Location & details#
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10 to 12 weeks).
- Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $20.50 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and background.
- Note: Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening. Employees must comply with Bank ethics rules regarding financial holdings.
