About the role#
Join the FCC Capital division for a four-month summer placement. You will gain hands-on experience with investment and ecosystem support programs while contributing to work that drives innovation in Canadian agriculture. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Support pipeline development, management, and analysis.
- Contribute to the due diligence process.
- Screen co-investment opportunities.
- Support reporting requirements.
- Complete ad hoc research and projects.
- Support ecosystem market mapping.
- Assess and research potential partnerships.
What you'll need#
- Enrolment in a degree program in commerce, business administration, finance, or economics, with at least one year of study completed.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first approach.
- Versatility, confidence, and the ability to be coached.
- Strong organization and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A rigorous approach to research, analysis, and documentation.
- Demonstrated curiosity about technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
- Passion for positive social and environmental impact.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Basic administration skills.
