About the role#
We are hiring a Co-op Student or Intern to join our Office Administration team for a 4-month term starting in January 2027. You will support our Kitchener-Waterloo or Guelph offices by managing daily administrative tasks and assisting our professional staff. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Welcome visitors and route phone calls professionally.
- Process payments and direct inquiries to the correct departments.
- Manage mail and courier requirements, including maintaining tracking spreadsheets.
- Provide general administrative support and assist professional staff with daily needs.
- Proofread financial statements and letters for errors in grammar, formatting, or typing.
- Use Workday for project and file management.
- Work independently on special assignments and back up reception duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program focused on administration.
- Strong organization, time management, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a professional, positive demeanor.
- Proven ability to work as a self-starter.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and prior customer service or administrative experience are considered assets.
Location & details#
- This role is based in either Kitchener-Waterloo or Guelph, Ontario.
- The work modality is hybrid, involving a mix of in-office and remote work.
- Compensation is $35,100 per annum.
