About the role#
This internship focuses on driving the development and adoption of next-generation infrastructure tooling. You will support ASIC, software, and platform engineers by building reliable tools that enable faster iteration and help push the boundaries of AI performance. You will work directly on hybrid-cloud high-performance compute (HPC) clusters and massively parallel CI executions.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and scale-out observability platforms with LLM integration.
- Build high-quality tools to improve engineering workflows.
- Contribute to the development of hybrid-cloud HPC clusters and CI systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to solve hardware and software co-design challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current progress toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust.
- Proficiency in Python for those focused on systems software.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Solid understanding of low-level software engineering and hardware/software co-design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Linux internals, kernel development, driver debugging, hardware diagnostics, server virtualization, or CI/CD pipelines is considered a plus.
