Infrastructure Intern

About the role#

As an Infrastructure Intern, you will drive the development and adoption of next-generation infrastructure tooling. You will enable ASIC, Software, and Platform engineers to iterate faster and build more reliably, ultimately pushing the boundaries of AI performance. You will work on hybrid-cloud high-performance compute (HPC) clusters and massively parallel CI executions to build high-quality tools that engineers rely on.

What you'll do#

• Develop and adopt infrastructure tooling to improve engineering velocity and reliability.
• Work on hybrid-cloud HPC clusters and massively parallel CI executions.
• Build high-quality tools for internal engineering teams.
• Collaborate with ASIC, Software, and Platform engineers to support AI performance goals.

What you'll need#

• Progress towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust.
• Proficiency in Python for those focused on systems software.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Understanding of low-level software engineering and hardware/software co-design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: Experience with Linux internals, kernel development, driver debugging, hardware diagnostics, server virtualization, or CI/CD pipelines.
