About the role#
This internship focuses on the design, development, and deployment of ML system software for rack-scale systems. You will work on network performance, telemetry processing pipelines, and the analysis of system-level health. The role also involves deploying software frameworks, performing hardware validation, and maintaining secure, performant systems for data center scale ML workloads.
What you'll do#
- Design and deploy ML system software for rack-scale operations.
- Develop telemetry creation and processing pipelines.
- Analyze system-level health and performance metrics.
- Maintain secure and high-performance environments for data center scale workloads.
- Support hardware validation and software framework deployment.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of hardware/software co-design and low-level software engineering.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes Linux internals, kernel development, driver debugging, hardware diagnostics, server virtualization, or CI/CD pipelines.
