About the role#
As a Growth Ops Intern, you will help shape the future of our team by executing our internship and new-grad hiring strategy. You will work closely with recruiters, marketing, and leadership to identify and attract top talent. This role involves building relationships with universities and technical communities while creating campaigns that help Etched stand out. You will be responsible for planning and executing events across the country to connect with high-potential students.
What you'll do#
- Identify and engage exceptional students through universities, technical communities, and unconventional channels.
- Partner with hiring leaders on targeted outreach and sourcing strategies.
- Plan and host private events, managing everything from guest lists and venues to logistics and follow-up.
- Build and maintain relationships with professors, student leaders, and university clubs.
- Create recruiting content to attract early-career candidates.
- Track event engagement and recruiting conversion to improve our programs as we scale.
- Collaborate across departments to refine our hiring approach.
What you'll need#
- Experience in recruiting, sourcing, events, marketing, or community building.
- Strong instincts for identifying and engaging talented individuals.
- Excellent communication and project-management skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work in a changing environment.
- A willingness to travel for events.
- Experience with data-driven ownership and resourceful sourcing.
Location & details#
- This role is based in San Jose, California.
- The team works on-site 5 days a week.
- We are hiring for Summer 2027 and Fall 2026 terms.
- This is a 12-week paid internship.
- We provide daily lunch and dinner in the office and offer housing support for those relocating.
