About the role#
As a mechanical or thermal engineering intern, you will join the Platform team in San Jose. You will work on the full-stack system that supports our silicon, moving from PCB design to rack-level integration. This role involves working across mechanical and electrical disciplines to design high-power ASIC systems.
What you'll do#
- Support NPI prototyping efforts.
- Develop manufacturing fixtures.
- Work on liquid cooling technologies.
- Contribute to rack-level system development.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience building real mechanical systems, boards, or other hands-on projects.
- Knowledge of the board design cycle, high-speed interconnects, power delivery, and system integration.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in San Jose, California.
- The internship is full-time and paid.
- We are looking for interns for Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Summer 2027.
- We provide housing support for those who relocate.
- Daily lunch and dinner are provided at the office.
