About the role#
As a Chip Simulation Software Intern, you will work on the simulation of custom hardware. You will build and test tools that help engineers analyze these systems. This role requires close coordination with both software and hardware teams throughout the development process.
What you'll do#
- Co-design, develop, and test simulations of custom hardware.
- Build tools that engineers use to analyze hardware systems.
- Coordinate with software and hardware teams across the development path.
What you'll need#
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of low-level software engineering and hardware/software co-design.
- Communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Linux internals, kernel development, or driver debugging is a plus.
- Experience with hardware diagnostics or interpreting hardware logs.
- Exposure to server virtualization or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Rust or embedded development.
