About the role#
Solidigm offers graduate-level internships focused on software development, firmware engineering, embedded systems, and AI applications. These roles support our data center SSD products and internal engineering platforms. You will work on real technical challenges alongside experienced teams to build tools, refine firmware, and apply AI to engineering workflows.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools or infrastructure that support product development.
- Contribute to firmware features, embedded software, and debug workflows for storage technologies.
- Build automation frameworks and scripts to improve firmware testing and regression execution.
- Apply machine learning, data analysis, or AI techniques to improve engineering productivity and validation efficiency.
- Analyze test results, logs, and performance metrics to identify trends and solve technical problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Python, C, C++, or Java.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development environments and version control systems.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
