About the role#
Solidigm is seeking undergraduate students for Hardware and Product Development Engineering internships. These roles support our data center SSD products. You will work on engineering challenges related to hardware design, evaluation, and debug. This is a chance to participate in new product development from the initial concept through to final release.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, evaluation, and debug of hardware subsystems and components.
- Support schematic reviews, board-level bring-up, and hardware-firmware interaction analysis.
- Contribute to product development activities across design, prototyping, and release phases.
- Analyze component and system-level test data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop or utilize scripts and tools to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, validation, and product engineering.
- Document designs, test methods, and project deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Foundational coursework in electrical design, analog and digital electronics, or hardware systems.
- Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Python.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development or lab environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a technical team.
- Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
