About the role#
Solidigm is seeking a Supply Chain & Procurement Intern to support strategic sourcing and supply-chain operations for integrated circuits used in data-center SSD products. This six-month internship provides hands-on experience in supplier management, sourcing, planning, market research, and data analytics. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support procurement processes that enable supply continuity and cost management.
What you'll do#
- Support IC sourcing activities, including supply assurance, pricing, capacity, allocation, inventory, RFQ, proposal, award, and commercial-term tracking.
- Collect, validate, and analyze supplier, market, and supply-chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Research semiconductor market trends, supplier developments, pricing signals, and supply-chain risks.
- Prepare supplier and stakeholder communications, meeting materials, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Support supplier performance tracking, business continuity, risk mitigation, forecast alignment, and demand supply coordination for ODM turnkey supply models.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to understand SSD build requirements and supply priorities.
- Contribute to cost savings, process improvement, and value-engineering analysis through clear data summaries.
- Use approved AI tools responsibly for research, drafting, validation, and productivity improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and follow procurement policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, business, operations, engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in semiconductors, technology supply chains, and data-center products.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and detail-management skills.
- Comfort using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, approved AI tools, and digital productivity applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate in team environments.
- Proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn from feedback.
- Relevant coursework, projects, internships, or work experience in supply chain, procurement, business/data analysis, operations, or vendor management is preferred.
- Experience using AI tools and Excel for analysis, pivot tables, charts, dashboards, and research summaries.
- Familiarity with VMI, ODM manufacturing, and semiconductor supply chains is helpful.
