About the role#
Solidigm is hiring graduate students for Hardware, Electrical Validation, and Product Engineering internships. These roles focus on data center SSD products. You will work on real engineering challenges, including hardware validation, system behavior testing, and product characterization. This is a hands-on position for students who enjoy lab work and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Support the validation and characterization of SSD hardware, components, and platforms.
- Assist with the debug of high-speed signals and interfaces like PCIe.
- Use lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers, to collect data and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and improve test scripts, dashboards, and automation frameworks to increase validation efficiency.
- Analyze benchmark, telemetry, and test-log data to identify trends, anomalies, or potential product risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document test methods and findings.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of analog and digital circuits, computer architecture, or electronic systems.
- Experience with a programming or scripting language, such as Python, C, C++, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development or test environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a technical team.
