About the role#
As a Platform Intern, you will join the mechanical and thermal engineering organization to design high-power ASIC systems. You will collaborate across mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines to support the full-stack system from PCB to rack.
What you'll do#
- Develop NPI prototypes and manufacturing fixtures.
- Work on liquid cooling technologies and rack-level system development.
- Contribute to the design of high-power ASIC systems.
What you'll need#
- Current progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience building mechanical systems, boards, or similar projects.
- Knowledge of the board design cycle, high-speed interconnects, power delivery, and system integration.
Location & details#
- Location: San Jose, California (on-site).
- Term: Summer 2026 (June through August).
- Duration: 12 weeks.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- Support: Housing support is available for those relocating, and daily lunch and dinner are provided in the office.
