About the role#
This internship provides students with hands-on experience in the engineering field during the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside our staff to support active projects and gain exposure to the surveying and mapping industries. The program includes one-on-one mentorship, weekly feedback sessions, and opportunities to meet with senior leadership to discuss career goals.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering staff with project progression tasks.
- Assist with construction specifications and engineering calculations.
- Help with drafting work as needed.
- Participate in site visits to observe work in progress.
- Learn to use engineering software such as M-FAD and PLS-CADD.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Masters student in Civil, Environmental, Construction, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, paid position based in Lakewood or Loveland, Colorado.
- The internship is full-time and temporary, lasting 2 to 3 months.
